Manadon House is a beautiful English manor house set in five acres of picturesque woodland. We offer the closest to an al fresco wedding that you will find in England. The house has been home tolords and ladies throughout 800 years of history. The venue is fully licenced for weddings and civil partnerships. We provide a selection of three different locations for the ceremony itself. Including one that allows you and your guests to enjoy your ceremony outside, yet remaining within English marriage law. Providing the perfect alternative to the traditional ‘church aisle’. Walk down through the elegant, 15th century, grand oak staircase. You are then presented with our three options for your ceremonial vows.
The Portico:
English law does not allow couples to marry outdoors. However, here at Manadon House, we can offer you and your guests the option to legally enjoy your wedding in the open air. In our roman style Portico, surrounded by acres of serene woodland and manor house grounds.
The Ballroom:
For centuries royalty and the elite of England have enjoyed the grandeur of the Manadon House ballroom for their most presitigious of occasions. Now you too can experience this heritage and luxury for your special day. The southfacing ballroom is adorned with authentic period detailing and flooded with natural night.
The Harlequin Gallery:
An intimate wonderful journey through time, illuminated by magnificent stained glass windows, dating back to the 15th century. You can declare your vows on the romantic oak balustrade, while encircled by your guests in the carved, granite atrium.
Once you are officially wed, you may enjoy the full spectacle of the grounds of the house to indulge in style. Our associates can provide a range of marquee’s, catering, entertainment and whatever else you may require for every aspect of your reception.From the opulent and decadent, to the intimate and exclusive. Our uniquely tailored and imaginitive approach ensures that every occasion is truly distinctive.

Our prices are both reasonable and competitive. We offer a unique and amazing experience to every one of the happy couples who comes through our doors. We’re sure you’ll think it’s worth every penny.
For Up to 40 Wedding Breakfast Guest’s and additional 40 evening guests.
Basic Package. Ceremony & Reception £12,000. Reception only £10,500
Enhanced Package. Ceremony & Reception £15,000. Reception Only £13,500. *does not include bridal party attire, bridal party flowers or photography.
